Eagles Need to Improve Run Offense, Defense

Ray Parrillo, a Philadelphia Enquirer staff writer wrote an article reiterating what I've said several times: the Eagles need to improve their run offense and defense.

The defense has played very well at times this season, but the Eagles now have a 0-3 division record and their inability to stop the run has a lot to do with it.

At the same time, the Eagles are having trouble putting together clock-killing drives and are losing the time of possession battle, all because the run offense has failed to get on track.

In a division where it's conceivable that three or even four teams could end the season 10-6
or better division record is going to be huge. If the Eagles don't win all three of their remaining division games they could likely miss out on the playoff due to something as silly as tie-breakers.
